Tala the swan protector

While there are many cool decks around on the test server, i think that Irina needs to be with them.
But i cant really make it work, the reason may be that i am a bad deck builder. Thats what i have so far:

1 - Tala Pureheart

4 - Aldon the Brave
4 - Yari Spearman
4 - Yari Bladedancer
3 - Irina, Guardian of the Swan
3 - Fortified Wisp
2 - Yari Marksman
2 - Xander, Yari Captain

4 - Crippling Blow
4 - Blood Frenzy
4 - A Legend Rises
4 - Roadless Traveled

2 - The Kings Pride

The Yari Bladedancer + Irina combo is very promising and our protectors will keep it alive for a while, but when i lose the board it difficult to come back. Tried several options like Valiant Defener or Intimidate, but nothing really seems to work.

It is possible?

Looks good, I will give you some thoughts:
Tala can make anyone a protector, so, including natural protectors is countersynergetic, but, as is more reliable to have the yaris to protect irina, I would say change the hero to Boris or Amber. Looks like boris' ability will be useful in next expansion, so he may be a good choice.
Irina benefits from the same things that haste units benefit: attack buffs, so including haste allies looks like a good idea and they'll help you to regain the board when you lose it, also, with road less traveled, this can lead to some tasty combos
4 A legend rises seems like too much.
You included 0 tech against enemy weapons/armors.

And cut off those legend rises cards. Why did you even included it? (this is a real question, i want to learn why) Your opp wont want to cripple your protector, he will want to kill it.

A Legend Rises is included to Attack buff Irina or Yari Bladedancer who will give it to Irina (2x 6 dmg is really impressive), or to help the whisp if he is the guy in charge.
But you are probably right that 4 is too much.

I am aware of the missing tech, i included Smashing Blow most of the time, but found myself rarely using it, chances are good the the next version of the deck will have it again.

Maybe i play it wrong in the way, that my main goal is to get the Yari Bladedancer + Irina combo. I tried Rilards Buckler, was helpful, but i thougt that it didnt help me much archiving that goal.

Hasted Allies and Dragon's Tooth really help. Looks much better.
Tried alternative Version with Tala again,

- 2 Bad Santa
- 1 Earthen Protector
+ 3 Eleanor, Princess of Ellos

but till now draw gave me the same like the Boris Version.
