Hello everyone!
I hope you got to theorycraft and playtest because it is time to open Shattered Fates tournament season. This is a reboot of tournament format by Eliona held some time ago. The main objective with this tournament is to see who can get the most out of his hero team made from 3 different classes. To sign up you need access to test server(only Kickstarter backers at this point). Participation in this event will take up some of your time. If you are not flexible to play at various time or have a very busy life schedule, please do not apply.
Special Rule:
You will have to choose 3 different heroes from 3 different classes for this tournament. At least one of them needs to be a new hero from Shattered Fates: Tala, Aramia, Ythan, Threbin, Garth, Vess, Raikka, Skervox, Praxix, Bloodfang, Loest, or Rothem. Example: Eladwen
You will have to play with the same cards through the whole tournament, so what you use first game you will have to use next time too. Exception to this are balance changes (see Balance Changes section for further explanation).
This means that:
All matches will be best of three. Alternate who goes first in games 1 and 2. Let fate decide who goes first in game 3.
Every match will be played like this:
- 1st game you play one hero.
- 2nd game you play another hero (you cannot play the same hero as in game 1).
- 3rd game (if any) you play your remaining hero.
The order of which hero you use from match to match is all up to you.
General Rules:
1. This will be single-elimination tournament. We will aim for 32 (or 16 if we don't get enough) players.
2. All decks are locked during entire tournament, with exception in case of balance changes (see Balance Changes section for further explanation).
3. Play fair and no cheating please! Cheaters will be disqualified.
4. If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless both players agree to replay or a player concedes.
5. If sync or draw error occurs the game should be replayed, unless a player concedes.
6. Each round will last 5 days. However if both players ask I can give them an extension. Otherwise coin flip will decide who advances to the next round.
7. I will be TO and official referee for this tournament.
Registration:
To sign up post your IGN and 3 heroes you will use in this thread. You will need to send me deck lists for all 3 heroes for your entry to be valid.
Reporting results:
When reporting post your and your opponent's IGN and result of every game played.

How to handle bugs:
If you notice bug you can:
-Agree with your opponent to replay
-Agree to ignore the bug and continue playing
-Finish the game and consult TO if game should be replayed
If you discover any new bugs, please, report them in appropriate bug report thread.
Balance changes:
Since SF is still in testing Design Team may introduce balance changes at any given point. If a player thinks this change affects his strategy too much he can ask TO to change up to 4 cards in a single deck. It is TO's call to decide if balance change is significant enough to allow that.
