The only card tactician shuts down imo is LLN, which can be helpful in a resource denial badurru facing certain heroes.

Pretty much agree with all of your comments, but at 4cc it comes out right before night prowler,
so could possibly be used to clog the opponents hand for a turn allowing night prowler to stay in play longer.
plus it does help induce mistakes.

another problem with these cost increasing cards is that they are all 4cc making them difficult to play together.
I could never make it work in DP with any hunter though.

The biggest problem with RD Baduruu is beef. You rarely can keep the opponent under 3 resources and Garg and the gang (and 3cc allies in general) can make your days numbered. You play Tactician and the opponent should (I've played against people who have died to Tactician, they shouldn't) be able to kill it, rendering the whole deal useless, not to mention you didn't RD that turn so the opponent actually gains from it.

Regarding the Night Prowler point, and why I don't really understand why people like it: You play Night Prowler, steal a card with the Tactician on-board. The opponent probably has an ally that can kill the Prowler. If he doesn't, good for you but he really should have one. So you end up gaining a card for quite a bit of tempo. The trade itself isn't that bad but then you have to consider that the opponent is on 5 resources now and because he's on 5 resources, he can do a lot more things.
