    "Connection to Game Server Lost"

Recently I've been disconnected from a number of QM games with the following error:

    "Connection to Game Server Lost"

When there was a temporary drop out, I remember it attempting to reconnect and counting down from 15 seconds with a blue wifi symbol.
If internet connection was re-established within the 15 seconds the game would continue.
Now a split second drop out appears to be an instant disconnect.

Has anyone else experienced this lately?

Every 4-5 games I get this. I know my phone sucks, but this was not the issue before Jasmine was introduced. Now it is so bad it has come down to me not being able to rank up in QM nor to play tournaments.

I no longer play tournaments on my mobile or laptop devices dependent on 3G or wireless, as I've had to many losses as a result of the disconnect.
When I have a tournament I plug the Ethernet cable directly into the laptop.
My QM rating is ruined by the disconnects, but on the train it's either deal with the occasional rating loss, or grind for gold. (Never had the disconnect issue when grinding for gold against the AI)

any little burp with a connection makes it happen. that it happens isnt the problem, its that it wont reconnect eventhough you only lost connection for a half second.

Yeah, I think this is really serious issue that developers seem to ignore.

Well said. That is the key issue.

it has happened so often on my laptop and router, that i figured it out... i see the little burps here and there on my connection status... its so quick. my game stalls, meaning nothing happens. like 5 minutes later the game ends. it doesnt interupt anything but shadowera (and MMDoC... it doesnt reconnect either).

it happens on the test server too but at least there, i get the countdown to wwatch after 5 minutes or so... and then the game ends when it counts down.

i am surfing the forums, talking on irc, anything... but it never ever reconnects

I've been doing a bit of testing with this issue.
When pinging the SE game site the game will suffer a 'disconnection error' after a consecutive 3 request time outs. (Roughly 90 milliseconds in total)

There is clearly a core code issue causing a super sensitivity on a solid connection. Most likely introduced when combating the former sync issues.
I'm hoping this will be fixed with the SF release and we'll see the 15 second count down timer again, rather then sudden defeats during our matches.

Guild Wars was cursed with having players drop from your party when someone's internet went down. Originally, there was no ability for them to reconnect, but the developers later made a way for them to rejoin the group. IMO that was the best patch ever. I hope Shadow Era can do the same.

P.S. I get these even when playing via PC without a router.

Its a very serious issue, and I've found it much more common in the latest version than the preceding one (along with game already started autoloss situation).
