New Player : What to expect

    Hello SE community,

I'm new to the game and want to know about the learning curve. If I want to compete competitively what to I need to understand/learn?

I've played a hand full of games in the last week with decks I found on the forums. I didn't like the mage "rush" deck at all. I prefer my decks be balanced so I went with the priest. Are tourney decks fast or slow?

Hi there the guy zhou is most likely sleeping but I'm not...=P
Underneath in my signature says Helpful links simply click on that =]

In my opinion in order to be competitive you must know every hero and most cards. In tourneys you will see variety of decks and knowing their playstyles will benefit you a lot.

In terms of Learning Curve, some guilds will help you on that. For example, Warriors of the Blue Phoenix have Player Development Program (PDP) this program is pretty much for new to casual players. It should help with learning all the heroes and playstyles.

    Also, welcome to the forums

    Thanks Meeklosh and Jo3yb0i,

I will definitely check out your guild and register on your forum.

Great article Jo3yb0i! It seems like the game is focused around card draw. no draw = lose

Pretty much, draw and card advantage is very important, or should I say, the most important thing.

Looking forward to see you on BP forums

Tournament decks seem to be enough more control compared to qm decks.
