Hello everyone,
My name is Mackenzie, or Wackatramp. Im not really that new of a player, I just never come on the forums much. But new year, new attitude, why not start posting more now?
Anyways, I love this game. Ive grown up with cards all my life. From Magic, to Pokémon, to Yugioh, and the WoW cards, ive played with a good chunk of games out there. But Shadow Era is different. I saw a lot of potential in Shadow Era. I saw enough potential in it to be 1 of 4 5k backers, (the last one that made the push for 80k). This game pulls me through night shifts, the community is great, and I really wanted to see that 2 vs 2 and Free for all mode. To be honest, it wasn't about the Kickstarter bonuses, it was more about taking this game to a new level, for everyone. This is a quality game (minor glitches a side) in my eyes, id rather support it than see it die or kind of see it go no where like many games have for me in the past.
But yeah, a little more about me. Currently, I run a Serenadeck. Im all about the discards. As sketchy as running one currently is, its mad fun. All those shadow crystals and my deck is mediocre (180-200 rankings). It probably will be for a while. Haha. But its fun and my style. Theres nothing like using someone else's card to kill them. Ive had too many glorious moments with discards and Gravedigger's Cloak winning me tight games. Its safe to say unless a new Rouge discard hero comes out (perhaps the one I get to design....) I'll always stick with Serena
Anyways, I look forward to 2014 and everything else Shadow Era will bring us. We are a great community and lets help it be great. Shortly, I will be starting my own guild and I look forward to working with that. I hope to see you on the battlefield, and I hope to perfect the discards enough that you will all hate me at one point or another.
