Paypal USD / CAD

Paypal payments are in USD and the KS was in Canadian, was this intentional?

I asked this several days ago.
Wulven support team explained as follow:

The USD and CAD currencies are almost the same and often used interchangeably to simplify things, e.g. something on the App Store will cost $4.99 USD or $4.99 CAD in the Canadian App Store. But in this case, when converting from USD to CAD using PayPal or a credit card, the amount is again almost the same, e.g. $20 USD = $20.63 CAD using PayPal. In fact, with a credit card you might end up being charged even more if it was in CAD, as credit cards often have high foreign currency fees. Because of this, we left the currency in USD which is our primary currency for Shadow Era. However, Kickstarter forced us to use CAD as the company is based in Canada.
