^^ This ^^. It's not like they took any money from you and then changed the rules. I can't believe such a long post was needed to not leave the tourney.

Man, the sealed deck tourney keeps haunting people. I missed one card, after a shitty draft in which I was forced to play Lance

cause I didn't have anything good and only continued for the fun of it! And damn, it was fun. I kicked myself for missing that one card in the first round (second round I was clean) because that tourney was so much fun. We should really do that again.

@Mip, I'm finding it sad you doubt the sincerity of Cait and Atom. Her price was first a price for an internal tournament. She doesn't need to offer it here as a reward...

Well, you don't see anyone who didn't join/ quit the tourney, go into the competition thread and accuse that that the tourney organiser is "cheating" by a rule change at the start of tourney.

As far as I remember, you are the first person who has done that. (All other accusations have been targeted at poor ruling, adherence to original rules which people felt was not logical).

let me emphasise that you didn't just "speak up", you are directly accusing the integrity of the tourney organisers at a rule change BEFORE the tourney. If you didn't say the words in italics, I won't have responded.

I know I can not change your opinion, so I am not trying.

The purpose of my posts are to reassure to all participants that the deck lists will only be seen by me, for the sole purpose of checking out discrepancies.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I will say that Caitlyn's Slugfest tournaments are the absolute best of all SE tournament formats. This tournament is free to join and Caitlyn (and A1) are providing the prizes...they have nothing to gain by cheating except the prizes they are providing in the first place (but everything to lose if cheating...as a good name is more important than any prize). I personally have no problem with submitting my deck lists and will submit them prior to my round 1 match.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to a SLUGFEST!
