could someone educate me on how this card is good. cause from my point of view, it rely too much on luck to use effectively.

Well, this year's world champion used Dimension Ripper in his deck, and gave his reasoning in this thread that basically said Dimension Ripper never should have been made.

Key points:
Since Berserker's Edge doesn't work with Amber's ability, it's the best weapon for her in terms of damage output.
You're ready for deck disruption, your opponent probably isn't and will play poorly because of the confusion.
There are ways of increasing the chances of coming out ahead with the draw.

I have an amber deck with 4 retreats, 3 BS and 3 DR, 4 jd, it's very fast and fun.

Retreat my own stolen allies back to my hand, keep choking my opponet's hand with bs and DR.

I played yu-gi-oh and MTG, both of them have cards which steal or exchange cards...Its nothing new..Only here it is done by a weapon, there it is done by a spell or a monster special effect

Evertytime I use DR in my Amber deck my opponent stoles an Aeon from my deck, lol.
Luckily I can deal with it using Retreat, which is great in this situation

True story: I attacked my DR into his DR and I told him I got 2 of his DR. He told me he got 1 of mine. Oh boy. :/
