History
I love decks with 2 routes to win. My WC 2012 Portal Majiya deck “Brutal Portal” is similar.
http://www.shadowera.com/showthread....eck-(WC-Top-8)
1. Deathrace
2. Control
When Justicar and LD won their respective LCQ qualifiers, I knew this deck was going to appear in WC finals. Much like how Portal Majiya won the last 2 spots of LCQs of WC 2012.
I had an epic SEVEN games with BP Pandevmonium in Rd 2 (loser’s brackets) – it was Bo3 but we DREW 4 games: all due to nova death. LOL. Anyone can view my WC games by searching my IGN: “Logan Firestone” (notes: 5848 is KA vact)
How to play it
It pretty much plays itself. You play it ‘deathrace’ style or ‘control’ style depending on who your opponent’s hero is, the luck of the draw/hand, and whether if you have FTA (first turn advantage).
It LOOKS easy to play it but it takes a skilled pilot to play it well. This deck is also great in QM.
Card Choices
Nothing much to comment except that I like the Staff of Disintegration. (Credit to BP Senyong for that) If I am deathracing, that ping could be critical.
Sideboard cards: The TOs help me to change the deck into a ‘deathracer’ with 4 Tomes, 4 BS, 4 TO; which proved critical in my win vs vAct's Zhanna. Squires are for Vs BB, Amber, Zhanna, Lance. Worm for going second and vs Weapon heroes, 4 Severs vs warriors.
Enjoy! Questions and feedback welcomed!
