Well I finally did it. It took me almost 10 posts to break that invisible wall at 999 but the milestone is now complete. Since you can already find plenty of good decks and articles from other players on the forum I decided to post something a bit different while still keeping with the tradition of making a milestone post.
I present Solomentalis.
First off solo Ele has been the brunt of a lot of jokes. This deck is meant to change that. It has won and is about as tooned as I can get it so it should be tourny ready. There are already semisolo mill decks lying around that are pretty good but I decided to go the whole 9 yards and give it a more legitimate win condition. More discussion later now the list.
Cards 39+ Elementalis
Allies: None
Items + Abilities: 28
4x SoV
4x Transference
4x Antimatter
3x HBM (Can be replaced with LLN)
4x Evil Ascendant
3x Contaminated Water
2x Shadowspawn
4x Mind Control
Equiptment: 11
4x Sliver of Shadow
4x Dimension Ripper
3x Morphic Armor
At first glance it looks like this deck would never get out of the lower ratings, what you don't realize is that as your opponent's decks get better so does your do to your kill them with their own deck strategy (15 cards out of 39 do this).
So best set up for this deck is:
T1: nothing
T2: Tranference
T3: Hope you stole something good and play it.
Good Match ups:
Slow mages tend to be best.
Fatty based warriors also suffer.
Bad Matchups
Weapon decks particularly solo as you can't steal their allies and buff them. Plus your mind controls end up being useless
Millstalker is pretty close to autoloss but after t3 Evil Ascendant they might think you are semi solo with Infinity Core and leave.
It takes a little bit of getting used to (I made several mistakes when I was first building this deck) so don't be surprised if you lose a bit at first. After 30-50 games you should start to get the hang of it though and then the wins will start flowing in. I can't really think of what else needs explanation right now so feel free to ask questions.
