No rating increase from rage quit?

Hi all,

My opponent just rage-quitted on me on turn 7. I gained some XP and gold, but my rating did not increase.

Is this an expected behavior?
I don't recall it to be the case in earlier QM seasons?

Rating not always increase, it has a formula and sometimes the result is less than 1

Agreed but it was my second game since reset (w/ a rating of 134).
Ratings usually skyrocket during the first few games of the season.

With little games played you are right, sorry I forgot the ladder reset happened yesterday. That really is strange, never saw not gaining rating from a rage quitting after T5

Since it is your second game, there maybe a chance your opponent is lower rating then you which result to no rating change. Just maybe....hmmmm
