Coming Soon: Crystals Anthology Duel Decks

For those that might have missed it, there is a new digital product on the way: Crystals Anthology Duel Decks with Loest and Rothem.

It will be priced at 1000 SC once on sale from the in-game Merchant, or you can get it included with a $20 pledge to the Kickstarter (which already gives you 2000 SC and 20 Shattered Fates booster packs, 10 CotC booster packs, 10 DP booster packs and a few other things) at least one month earlier than everyone else.

We're very pleased today to be able to share with you details of a digital product that has been several months in the making: The Crystals Anthology Duel Decks for Loest and Rothem.

These two decks embody several important aspects of the first two sets of Shadow Era: Call of the Crystals and Dark Prophecies, which make up the Crystals Block.

First, they showcase some of the most well-known and well-played cards in the game so far. This leads to great gameplay and variety, especially when the two heroes face each other.

Second, they are very flavor-rich, including cards to represent key aspects of the story taking place during the Crystals Block: the war between Human and Shadow, and the rise and fall of Rothem and Loest. See if you can spot which cards are most heavily tied into the story!

Third, they are an opportunity to make more exclusive cards for our players, in both alternate art and foiled form. We hope you are pleased with the cards that were chosen!

Finally, it's a way for us to offer stronger class decks than the existing ones and give players an opportunity to play with two of the heroes from Shattered Fates before its release.

Each backer at the $20 level and up will receive these two awesome Duel Decks listed above, a $10 value, at least one month before they go on sale to the public. And those backing at the $90 level or higher will receive additional copies of the exclusives from the Duel Decks to make up a full digital playset (4x) of each of the 18 cards with alternate art versions or exclusive foils!

Based on the above, I think most people will be buying these, so why not get some super value by backing the Kickstarter instead? You get your 2000 SC and 10 CotC and 10 DP booster packs pretty much immediately after the Kickstarter ends (each pledger will be emailed to confirm which online account they want their SC in) and the Duel Decks as soon as they are available (at least one month before non-backers). You also get early Beta access to the whole Shattered Fates set and 20 booster packs of Shattered Fates when it is released. Super value!
