I understand mono being frustrated. I do not understand why you are a frustrated. You are complaining because you had to play someone you didn't want to play, in a randomly assigned tournament? Who cares if it was rearranged, as long as you had to face a valid opponent there is no reason for this.

I agree that's how challenge would've presented the brackets. If challonge was used on Day 1, those would be the matchups. However, the forum bracket seeded the lower bracket players differently. The problem with byes was spotted during loser's round 3 when all the round 2 games had finished up. I actually had to get Emigor and Pandev to stop playing so I could correct the brackets before any serious damage was done! We didn't really have the option of rolling back loser's round 2 results. The events, as you know, were particularly long and gruelling. A rollback would've made it even longer.

Again, it sucks that Day 1 was hit with technical hiccups and I do understand your frustration as a result but we did do our best attempt at "damage control" given the circumstances we were faced with at the time. We will make sure WC2014 runs a whole lot smoother!

So it sounds like you are just angry by enforcement of the Code of Conduct then?

And i spent a ton of time on doing up the charts and collecting pics and doing the appropriate graphic highlights.

Sorry if it seems that way to you but that's not the case. There are plenty of posts that are, imo, overly critical, that still exist. We've had threads that span 40 or 50 pages talking about how much Wulven sucks or what we do wrong that still exist. They may not be open any more, but that's because the thread usually devolves into a flame war filled with REAL overly critical remarks and even personal attacks. I don't close threads simply because they are negative towards the company.

As for this situation, Gondorian felt like this was a matter better settled with Mojumbo/Wulven rather than having the community step in when that's not necessary. Nothing more, nothing less.

btw, that's not the right code of conduct section that is applied to this situation either.
