      What advice would you give your 14-year-old self?

      I was sorting some paperwork whilst listening to a TV interview and someone asked this question, and the interviewee said "That's a great question!" I thought so too, so I'm asking it here!

      It's time to get serious, guys and gals. Don't let me down!

      If you are 14 or younger, no need to answer but it will hopefully be worth reading the replies.

      Ah man, that's pretty sad. There was a girl I had a crush on when I was 14 and we ended up getting together when I was 17. Turns out she was interested in me back when I liked her as well! Damn, three years lost. So I would definitely tell my 14-year-old self to make a move on her.

      I'd also tell him to get a decent haircut and leave school at 16 in 1996 and become a free-lance programmer, instead of doing 6 more years of education. (In 1996, Hotmail was just starting to be popular and people were making shitty free webpages on Geocities and Angelfire. There were no blogs or Facebook. I could have become a web guru if I just got stuck into learning Javascript/Perl/PHP instead of doing college then university.)

      Off-topic here sorry but, did you people really have crushes at just 14 years of age?
      Am I really the only guy that hasn't felt such emotions for anyone even passing 18 years now? :s
