A Legend Rises: post your comments abbout this cards here please

    Hello,

I want to put A Legend Rises in my Boris deck, but I guess there's no room for her.

Post your comments about this card. Who is using her and how she is going in your decks.

    My opinion:
    Positive points
    - Against Warriors (Crippling Blow) and Wulvens (Captured Prey)
    - When you attach on a Sandworm or a Steadfast ally
    Negative points
    - With a single Retreat (in the ally that hasn't Steadfast) you destroy this card
    - Against Board wipe
    - There's other cards inthe card pool that make her obsolete

the question is whether you feel it is necessary to have one as a special weapon against the decks it is good against, whether it is actually good enough against that deck to matter, and then figuring out how to change your deck to take advantage of the special tech should you decide to use it.

Its king in this environment where Crippling Blow, Captured Prey, and Consuming Fear are played.

Was completely backbreaking against me on an armoured sandworm where my removal consists of burn and consuming fear. It's a 2- for-1 against any deck which has unconditional sweeps or spot removal not based on damage (lol retreat)

I can't say much because I do not know the composition of your deck, but my opinion is that it would not be a bad idea to put 2 of it if you think you see cards like Crippling Blow and Captured Prey too often. However I feel that most Boris decks do not have room for it if they want to include a fair amount of other essential cards like the allies, draw engines and board control.

Perhaps if you post your deck's composition we could give better advices.

I'm not really sure, but isnt this human attachment the unique one? Where you cant have more than one copy of the card in play? Would work with Zhanna though, Priests have the right cards to handle and recycle attachments

For warriors Spectral Sabre is better choice imo, because of its versatility. You can remove negative attachments, but it is also vital in warrior mirror to remove early Blood Frenzy, and Enrage, vs Solo Darkclaw (and if you are lucky vs Millstalker) for removing Lone Wolf and Speedstrike. Sometimes you miss that 2 damage to finish opponent, and believe it or not it can me used as a weapon by Boris. Fascinating, isn't.

I love running two copies of Legend in Priest decks and aggressive Rogue decks, especially Lance; if you haste an Aeon into play and they try to nullify him with Crippling Blow or somethin', playing Legend on him next turn is devestating.
