Wow, very good guide by pat jay, I'm glad that my previous work has seen some good use.

My meltdown stats were collected for the first ever meltdown tourney, which I suspect had the most players. Subsequently many players realised it's too time intensive, so a lot of veterans don't play anymore.

I think the meltdown scene is more worth playing now with the increase in jackpot and the decrease in number of players, it's easier to get into the top tiers.

I stopped playing cos I knew as time goes by: the players will get relatively better and it will be harder to achieve my high win ratio. no ego boost here but i pwned a lot of noobs in the first ever MD week and got a lot of gold. I played a few games in week 2 and week 3 and the player pool clearly got much better.
