Thoughts on Knight of the Golden Dawn + A Legend Rises

I don't see many decks posted with this combo but it seems pretty powerful. 6/8 ally that's immune to enemy attachments, and synergizes with zhanna quite well. Is there a downside to this combo? Perhaps too much setup to be useful? They can really only be played together turn 9+ but it seems kinda worth it to me as an endgame fatty.

Is the same as Knight of the Golden Dawn + Good Ascendant, looks good on paper but is not really competitive :/

Throw in Assumed Command to take out the first 2 threats. 8/8 and Steadfast. Oh the pain! Oh wait. Throw in Inner Strength and make it an 11/8. Then Reinforced Armor for a 12/8 to make it like Gary, and add in Sacred Fire Walker to make it an effective 15/8 ally that is like Gary and has Steadfast.

Tower builds in this game (making one beast ally) do not really work because there's so many cheap removal options, as well as other ways to play around it. For example if you have one fat ally, I could just drop 3-4 cheap allies and just play around you. You're forced to control to prevent damage while I keep dropping threats and beating face.

you can always stop him with Jas and too much build up is involved. A 7/7 ally is impressive but you are going to need 2 turns to make it happen and you could have 2 Ravens or a raven and a jasmine instead which is more useful

It's easier with Sacred Fire Walker and nearly as good or even better.

As an elemental user, I thinkthat's a pretty good idea--beef up that fatty for a Mind Control
No animals were harmed in the making of this sig... I tried, but that damn monkey was way too fast.

in my very first deck I was playing attachements and KotGD and this happened to me. I ended having a knight with sacred firewalker and inner strength only to be killed in one turn after he had dealt 10 points of damage to my Zhanna
