i mean you can have both within less than 2 hero's cost. They can share a lot Human cards and Warrrior cards, only difference is Amber needs more Hero Weapons.

you asked what decks to buy. amber/boris share a deck (human warrior). lance/serena share a deck (human rogue). banebow/baduruu share a deck (shadow hunter).

pick one or two starter decks and buy more than one. the amber/boris starter is really great because both heroes are really good and easy to pick up and both play a little different so it will ease some of the boredom of playing the same hero over and over.

i would buy 2 of whichever starter you want to get... maybe buy 4 (or even 6) and sell off any card you have above 4 to buy cards you might need in the singles shop.
