Idk if someone mentioned this in this thread but HS won't let you play with the people you want, only those in your regional server are available to be added to your friend list, that really sucks.

Having played Hearthstone a bit more, and then more SE recently, I've noticed something pretty major (for me, at least) that I previously took for granted.

SE is still hands-down the best and most authentic TCG experience you can get online, whether mobile or otherwise. It really feels like playing a card game. Hearthstone doesn't feel like that. Does it matter? Well, maybe not to some, but it does to others. As someone from the dark ages, who started playing TCGs before hotmail.com existed, it matters to me.

Hearthstone vs SE won't ever be an issue for me...I'm SE-only! [just hope to keep it exciting as we continue to move forward...and squash the bugs...and bring the KS features as quickly as possible...and create a new ShadowMann ally card...]

How so Gondorian? In which regards do you notice this the most?

Has playing Hex changed your views here?

I've not yet played Hex, only opened a few packs. But I'm not sure how Hex can be like authentic TCG when they claim to be an RPG/TCG that fully embraces digital to do things that can't be otherwise done in a card game.

I can finally say something as I played HS all day ( while at work! Bonus! )
It's pretty fun, it's even funny, sheep cards and angry chicken and such, it's a little juvinile for me but it's not totally kid like.
The chat interface sucks, the fact that you can't pick a player sucks, and even though it's my first day, I can see it's gonna take a whole lot to even come close to being competitive.

So far SE is still the best. ( but I can definitly see me playing HS, if for no other reason than the sheep card! That just cracked us up!)

You have to add a player to your friend's list in order to play a custom match. Otherwise you'll always be proposed to play against a random player of equal skill. As for it being competitive, the top two decks of the current meta have zero legendaries in them, and can be build for rather cheap.

Do your daily quests, spend your gold in arena tickets and your card collection will start to grow in no time.

    Thanks for the tip,
I've yet to even see the friends list, I'll find it sooner or later.
