In 2 different games I am now confused
I have MA out, had enough SE to trigger ability but couldn't move speedstrike (I did in the previous game) then next game I couldn't move captured prey
How is this card supposed to work?

It helps if you list your in game name and that of your opponent.
Off the top of my head, in the first game, did you already have Speedstrike attached to your hero? In the second, was there another ally on the board that you could move captured prey onto?

Yeah, would help if you mention which games these instances occurred in, but I imagine it happened as Warr Byrd describes. Keep in mind that you can only have 1 copy of an attachment attached to a target at any given time, so in that first instance I you already had moved a Speedstrike onto your hero, you could not move a second one, because that would be like casting 2 of your own Speedstrike onto yourself essentially, which you can't do.

Regarding Captured Prey:
If your opponent did not have any allies out you can't move it even if you have multiple allies. The reason for this is because it says "as if you casted it" since you cannot cast CP on your own ally you cannot move it from one of your allies to another.

It appears that as I was playing elemental I couldn't move RF, can't find the game with CP, today was clinging web (not an attachment, though by definition I think it should be) so I'm beginning to think MA is not as useful for Elemental decks. Thx for replies (and the thrashing you gave me the other day Warr Bird )

Clinging web is a negative status effect same as poisoned, disabled, and frozen so MA won't affect that.
Morphic is very strong against warriors and other heroes centered around attachments like gwen and dark claw. Taking off key attachments like blood frenzy, enrage and transferring crippling blows can be very game changing. I consider it kind of like a more powerful severe ties that also increases your hp by 6.
