It's kind of like how a farmer can kill animals "destroying" their crops/livestock, right?
Imo...its cut n dry. They trespass...they take a bullet. Cops can and often do use the guns issued to them. I see no reason why an idividual can not protect their land. As far as I know if someone breaks in your house you have the right to shoot now. Ask later. Land should be no different. Tbh tho...a shot in the leg should suffice. I'm not saying you can't...miss the leg for an area slightly higher.
