Painful Memories - 4cc Shadow Support Ability
At the start of your turn, each player draws a card.
If a player would draw a card, they instead reveal it, put it into their hand and their hero takes damage equal to the casting cost of the card revealed this way.
I find that one interesting as well. I find myself imagining it a little differently, though…

If your hero reaches 0 health, gain 2 health and be set ablaze. You hero takes no further damage. Destroy this ability if it is in play at the start of your turn.
(Hence, you can't play it as a precaution for whenever. You'd have to time it for the turn you'd normally die. You might even be able to use it conjunction with your own card that would kill you - like supernova. I also think you can't have an ability like this without making it available to both sides.)
