    New Concept of Cards

    There should be cards which are only effective against Humans or Shadows.
    For example,

    KARMA
    3CC
    human ability.
    Only works against shadow.

    You get the shadow ability card of your choice from The opposing shadow player's graveyard.

    Faction cards are a good idea but what a hypocrite for your card idea It should be something human specific and unique to humans/drawing on human strengths

    No there should also be cards (abilities mainly) that work against Human only!
    For example,

    FLESH ROT (5cc)
    Shadow ability.

    "all human allies of opposing hero, in field, are reduced to 1 health"

    "IS IT PLAGUE? No its FLESH ROT!!!"

    The problem with cards like this is that they become dead draws when your opponent doesn't belong to the proper faction. They might have limited use in Meltdown or tournaments with sideboards, but I don't think many people would run with them in general.

    Sideboard cards are fine

    Lightbulb

    The idea is fine (especially flavour-wise), and to prevent dead draws it could be applied like this:

    Dimensional Shift
    4cc Mage / Priest ability
    All Shadow allies in play are shuffled into their owners' decks. All other allies in play take 1 arcane damage.

    Shining Spear
    5cc Warrior / Priest weapon
    Attack 2, Durability 2
    Shining Spear doesn't lose durability in combat with Shadow allies.

    Also, why choose only one side of the conflict?

    Barrier of Nature
    4cc Hunter ability
    Duration 1: Shadow allies and Shadow abilities cannot target Human allies. Human allies and Human abilities cannot target Shadow allies.
