It would be helpful for us if we can know the scope of the support team's ability to help out. This is to manage expectations and not blame them for things that are out of their control. I am not dissing the OP and I believe that timely answers and feedback help a lot in making you feel that one's concern was not neglected. If it will take a few days to sort an issue out, it would be helpful for the player to know just that.
