Wulven Apprentice - Task 3 - Voting and Results

Hi Wulven Apprentice fans!

After the second firing last week, we switched two members from each team, and then set them on their third task, which finished yesterday. I'm pleased to now share details of that task they were set and what each team has produced.


Task 3 Details

Task: Devise a Player Retention and Marketing Masterplan for Shadow Era, which addresses both digital and physical formats. The deliverable is a pitch of your masterplan. Aim to come up with something that's actually implementable without costing the earth and taking too long to set up!

Format: The format of how you present your masterplan/research/ideas is entirely up to you - could be a webpage, forum post, blog post, pdf document, powerpoint presentation, youtube video, etc. OR combination thereof.

Winner: Determined 50% by Wulven, 50% by public poll


Task 3 Submissions

The submissions this week came in a variety of formats: website, Powerpoint presentation, PDF and some JPG posters. I'll link them all below, and hopefully you are able to view them all on your platform.

Task 3 Results?

The winning team will be determined 50% by public poll, which opens in just over 24 hours from the time of this post, and 50% by judges at Wulven. The judging should ideally be done based on the task that was assigned, but if you wish to use other criteria to choose your favorite then that's your call.

Both teams definitely had some similarities and also differences. Either way acting on either plan will surely help SE to be more popular and could possibly turn SE into a household name

Step 1 of the masterplan should be:
1. Remake the entire Game-Client.
Dunno I have the feeling that the biggest problem of SE is that the client is just shit.
A complete new remake of the GUI would do a lot.
But well thats just opinion.

I think The S Team, or just STEAM, is better.

Great stuff by both teams this week. It will be hard to pick a winner I think, both teams' plans are very solid.

Well the famous saying "Want to blow of some STEAM" can now have two different meanings. First one meaning to calm down /cool off. The second one, well lets just say its not for kids. =]
