Vortex’s Swiss pop-up Tournament #1

Rules/Guidelines:
1.) Hero Lock, Deck Lock
2.) Tournament may last 2-3 hours or more. Please do not join if you don’t have time.
3.) Best of 2, alternate who goes first.
4.) PLAY NICE! Please be sportsman-like when attempting to settle disputes.
5.) Tournament starts at 18:00 GMT+0, join tournament chat by 17:45 GMT+0 (TBA)
6.) Must be able to Join IRC channel #tournament in #shadowera
7.) I with be the final competitor (either 8th or 16th)
Please let me know if you would like to attend by REPLYING to this thread or beeping me in IRC. Once 8 people are gathered the tournament will start. Will accept 1 or 2 reserves.

Swiss Tournament Guideline:

Points will be allocated:
3 for win
1 for draw
0 for loss
Tie-breakers:
I believe challonge uses the Median-Buchholz system to settle tie breaks and this will be used
Fixtures:
The fixtures during round robin stages will be allocated automated suing the challonge system
(anyone who joins abides by challonges rules)
8 Players = 3 rounds
16 players = 4 rounds
Prizes:
8 Man prizes:
1st- 500sc
2nd- 300sc
Fair play prize:
3rd – 8th - Raffle for 1 * 100sc for one person(for anyone who completes all 3 games and does not finish in top 2 for one lucky person)
16 Man prizes:
1st- 800sc
2nd- 400sc
Fair play prize:
3rd – 16th - Raffle for 1 * 100sc for two people (for anyone who completes all 4 games and does not finish in top 2)
Prizes approved, 1000 for 8 man, 2000 for 16man. therefore i will be adjusting the prizes ever so slightly.
Raffle:
1. Everyone messages me a hero, any duplicates i ask them to pick another available hero
2. I ask wallflower to choose hero at random
3. This hero choice is not related to the games in the tournament (completely random)
