I was gonna say happy birth year but that would represent the year they WERE born.
However, if it took an entire year, that means it could have spanned over 2 different years.
BUT if it was on a leap year and it was from the first of January to the 31st of December, it still makes it just the one year and less confusing, let's stick with that.
Now, should we count the entire process or the simply the FINAL moment of birth? If a woman was to be in the process of giving birth through Midnight from late-night to the very moment of morning, the child would be counted to being birthed at roughly 00:01 on the NEXT day.
If we stick to the '1 year' theory, it's entirely viable that this here "Array" was born at roughly 23:59:59 PM 31st December.
However, if it were literally an ENTIRE year, it's quite possible that it had JUST hit midnight and the birthday could be 00:00:01 AM 1st January.
So his birth YEAR is actually one forward from the year he was BEING birthed.

With this information in mind, I conclude that the SE Forums are just bugged as all hell.
