I would say most people in the top 50 have alternate accounts precisely so they can continue to QM. Wulven is well aware no one is happy with the ranking system and hopefully have something in the works. In the mean time, if going for rank is something you enjoy doing, you have to suck it up and play according to the system as it currently stands.

My solution to this is simply not caring about my rating. I play the game for fun, not to have my name on some top 100 list. If i want some kind of glory, i'll enter tournaments.

I lost 9 points becoz I only played MD for 3 three weeks...
So, I stop playing MD, and play QM to gain some points back,
but that is very hard...win 2-3 games for 1 point, but lose 1-2 points for a defeat...
Anyway to play "ranking free" games on mobile?
I agree with the sentiments of the OP of the people who are gaining fractions of points per win and losing 1-2 points per loss. It's taken me getting a few win streaks of 5 to be able to start gaining a full point per win. Hopefully a new system comes into place soon.

However, as a general policy, we don't adjust ranking points even if it is due to a bug or other problem(because it is so complicated to track, and is based on the rank of the other player at each match)
