Priest of the Light: blessing or curse?

So apparently this card has one of my favorite arts in the game.
Plus the concept intrigues me: A warrior of light/holly warrior.
I’ve seen tons of people using him with many different heroes and while I understand that allies that have a “when summoned” effect usually have lower stats than others of their cc level do you guys think that PotL is a viable card at 3/3. Do you think that his ability justifies his cost?

Yes. Also, even if it didn't, they wouldn't change it at this point.

I'm not asking for a change... just people's opinions.
So 3cc for reducing one SA (and one health but I don't feel this is critical) and getting an ally who will most probably killed in the next turn?
Do you use him Byrd?

I think he's fine as is. I personally hate seeing him played turn three and in some cases again on turn 4! The loss of shadow energy can really mess my early game up.
If they buffed him any he'd be in every single deck (and he nearly already is)

I’m a new player so I may be way off, but even if they buff his HP to 4 instead of 3 I’d still pick Aldon or Jas over him.
2 of them in a raw can mess you though if SA abilities are crucial to your strategy

He is fine as he is.

Perhaps those two are better in certain situations, but Priest of the light is better in others. Perhaps you should use him for a little while and you'll realise that he's pretty damn good already in his own way.

One time I was playing Gwen, and my opponent stole Potl from me with DR, played it and I couldn't finish him off because of this.

Verdict: bloody OP.

I consider PotL the 2nd best human ally, the only card I prefer over him is Jasmine. In fact, out of my 10 human decks I use him in 7.
