Admittedly, I've not really played the games in recent years. Mostly because the only games on Nintendo's handhelds that hold my interest are scribblenauts (sp?) and Pokemon. Hard to justify the cash for so few titles!

From what I'm seeing though, aside from a HORRIBLE choice in names the new games look to be getting a lot of things right.

I was going to argue here because I know that EVERYONE always just falls back to posting Garbodor and Vanilluxe's evolution lines, but I'm way too tired for this. :V

Also, to everyone out there that doesn't buy the new games just because of how silly a few viral Pokemon look, you're missing out on a lot.
All generations have near-equal amounts of unoriginal designs and Pokemon designed off random inanimate objects.
Plus the new-gen games are amazing when it comes to battle tactics, music, character development, story, emotion and all that jazz.
Heck, when N left in Pokemon BW1 I almost cried like a little girl at his speech. xD
