The fact that you pitch it to antimatter or resources is not a testament against the card' I agree it isnt a card you want in your hand all the time. But if you have four in your deck you can rely to draw into another one, which is a great thing. Besides, the changed mentality agaisnt elemental only goes so far. Sometimes you're just holding Aeon and have no choice but to drop him, which is where the 4x shows its worth. Or the might run a 4 drop out to bait out the MC.

Yeah, cute idea, might make a deck around it but not a top tier strat in my opinion sorry.
How is mind control an unconditional two for one?

Well, conditional on haveing a target I suppose. But other than that you deal damage and remove their card with one card.

Yes, even if all you kill with it is a (3) ally, such as Priest of the Light or Death Collector (unpumped) you spend 5 resources and deal 3 damage plus remove an ally.

Compare to other class cards that do similar effects. Smite deals 3 damage at (3) and Now You're Mine kills allies (3) and less, for (3) itself. That's a total cost of (5), and you get the same effect, both using class specific cards.

Compare to Mind Control, which seldom deals less damage than 3, and can certainly deal much more, AND has no restriction on target cost. All in a one-card package.

Not playing with this card is, for me, ridiculous. This proposition is like suggesting a Priest use no Tidal Waves because your opponent will always assume you DO have them, and alter their playing, accordingly. You STILL run Tidal Wave, because it's just THAT good of a card. The same is true of Mind Control.
