Anyone encounter Ascendent of the Horde + Shard yet?

i thought playing "Spark + Shard" is impossible above 200

however i just met with a player using Shard + Ascendent of the Horde
"All damage to friendly allies cost 2 or less is reduced by 1"

    Strategy:
    1. place 3-5 small allies...
    2. Shard so that you these small allies could clear the board
BOOM! you gain board control and enemy could not kill your allies (no first strik allies)
and can only use TD or Nova...
even with item removal, you are torn between removing the shard or the horde... (which is what happened to me)

any idea on how to prevent these?

I played against one running a lot of fast draws. It exploded with a lot of creatures fast. Going first with the right draw, it could pull off some impressive damage. More of a fun deck at the moment, but there is some potential there.

This could be the base but it needs so many cards to be added to make it really strong

I've run into it. It does a TON of damage. Then I played T5 Furrion Terror to kill everything. He quickly ran out of steam and I was able to easily kill every ally he presented after that and won the game. It's gimmicky and easily countered. And once it runs out of steam... it's done. There's no coming back, you either win in 5 turns or your opponent plays something that you cannot counter. Plus it requires too many cards to try to combo early on. It just doesn't work.

I played against one the other day and got caught off guard. I didn't expect the shard and horde. Sadly I lost

yes, we need furion terror or some cards that could clear the board... something Archer, Rogue, Warrior & Wulven are not able to

Sounds like a good idea, but it's not. Not enough cards and resources to run them.
