What I thought was funny, is the top prediction for the next Xbox name was
Xbox infinity,
So Microsoft called it
Xbox 1
Ironic?

Honestly, I'm sad about today's announcement.

Yes, the requirements were too strict and needed to be lessened. Yes, for some people the console wasn't the right fit. But that didn't mean that every feature of the console need to be removed. Diskless gaming? Sharing? Loaning? These things had potential. They needed refinement, not cancellation.

Kinda of disappointed though, i wanted them to get burned a little before reversing their stance. Now to see if they'll make kinect optional now and maybe a price cut then things would get interesting.

I agree. They didn't have that much of a choice, though. People just weren't willing to be reasonable. While I agree, a lot of bad sides with that system, there were definetly some really cool features to look forward too as well, but people weren't focusing on that, of course.

I think, it's just dumb to call your third console "one". Leader CEO left and company goes to shit.

As of right now, there is no reason to download game if you can buy it on disk.
