This is my list of cards that (in my opinion) add an element of negative gameplay and need to be fixed:
Tidal Wave: over-powered and like most of the cards Im listing; cant be defended against. Suggested fix: add some sort of penalty for using it (if not dump it all together)
Zhanna Mist: Her ability combined with Tidal Wave & Banish = very long, boring, and frustrating games.
Mind Control: Another one of the early cards that are now horribly overpowered, especially now that the elementals have the best draw.
Fireballs & Lightning Strikes: Over-powered anti-ally cards that can only be used by mages and can't be defended against. 4 mages and 3 of them have direct-damage as their special ability = bad game design.
Darkclaw: whats the point of this guy? -its like a troll invented this card to screw up a decent ally-based card game. Theres a massive number of folk playing this guy at the moment and its damn annoying. The other day: 2 out of every 3 of my games were against solo DC's playing Evil Ascendant.
Human allies vs Shadow allies: Human allies always have been, and probably always will be better than Shadow allies -but whys it have to be like this? (Im assuming Gondorian is a die-hard 'Human' player?). Why can't Shadow allies have protector and all the other amazing abilities that human allies have?
I know I'll get the usual patronizing remarks from the 'pro' players who rely on these advantages, and I doubt anything will ever be done to fix them, but they are issues (that for me anyway) limit SE to being a good game instead of a great one.
