App store reviews by Apple reviewers reach a new low

They replied thanking me for the information, and curiously a few minutes later it was approved. So apparently reviewing the game at Apple consisted of 4 hours trying to log in and then 5 minutes of testing the game.

This amazed me...and not in a good way. I thought Apple would have the best of testers. How wrong one could be.

I have a feeling "testing" the app is kind of like "testing" games on steam. If it starts and has no adverse effects on the machine (namely viruses) it passes. How else would you explain WarZ? (although lets not get into that here)

The big deal, cycle, is that Apple forces apps to go through an approval process (1 week waiting, 5 minutes of review) in order to "protect their users" that other platforms such as Android don't require. But in reality it seems that their reviewers are so incompetent that it makes the whole review process kind of pointless. Everyone would be better off if they did it in reverse like Google does: investigate and take down any offending apps that are reported to them.

At first I thought this thread was about people writing bad reviews of the game, as the title says app store "reviews", instead of reviewers. But regardless of that, these app testers seem pretty stupid, lol. Glad it got approved though.
