Yeah and sets are going to be much more frequent than SE, there is no doubt it costs more. Still, I'd rather be paying for tradeable cards than for game features and cosmetic items. Kyle has been focusing his attention on features he can monetize, not those that are necessarily best for the game. Cory specifically called this out as a bad habit that digital CCG's have been falling in to as of late.

Under 24 hours folks! Game play videos are available on twitch. A 'slacker backer' will be available for $50 for those who miss the kickstarter, but it is no where near the same value.

It's real, some are from companies that they have a relationship with. All backers at that level get to work with Cryptozoic on creating a dungeon, I heard one company was going to tie in some of their IP. I also heard that one of those slot's went to one of the founders parent's.

A few will probably disappear before the end of the kickstarter, people are backing at higher levels and trying to switch to one of the tiers that are full. If you do some HTML-fu on the kick starter pledge page and then set your browser to refresh as fast as it can you have a chance of getting a pro player or grand king tier if someone changes their pledge. Unfortunately a ton of people know about this now, every time one opens up 5 people pledge at the exact same time and the availability goes back down to -4.

Hey Pete! Long time no forum-communication (there's got to be a better way to say that.) Did you watch the kickstarter video?? Not only is it genuinely funny but it also gives a good high level overview of what they will be offering. Everyone I've shown the video to has asked where to pledge right after, admittedly I have been targeting TCG and MMO fans...

Yeah I watched it. I felt it wasn't for me. I don't play mtg anymore either, so meh. I play SE and solforge now. That's the kind of play I like.

If I get permission to cover the Alpha, I will... if not that, I do have permission to cover it in the "Beta"... and if I stick with it through that, the Full release. So might be able to get you guys some better info fairly soon on this game.
