best Priest weapon

Considering that that isn't the worst case scenario (since it could just outright get destroyed), and that it is 6 cost. I mean the 5 cost weapons that are commonly used are already 2/4 base stats. The kicker is also that none of the priests have a weapon based ability too. I just feel like it has such an underwhelming effect for a 6CC epic.

I do suppose the anti-stealth and non-combat damage is pretty handy for priests though.

Right but if it is destroyed right away, it still did 4 dmg while other weapons would have deal 2 dmg. That's another argument in favor of MS in my book
I just edited my post with what is another big deal of MS which is the possibility of destroying a 4HP allies by itself in 1 swing. That certainly isnt negligible.

For killing a 4 health ally with one swing, there are other options, even if you are using a strictly Priest deck. Play Mourneblade, charge it with a Tidal Wave. If you are not restricting it to Priests, then there's Amber + any 2 damage weapon, Gwen + any 2 damage weapon, Serena + any 2 damage weapon, Darkclaw + any 2 damage weapon. 2 damage weapon brought back with Reserve Weapon and boosted with another Reserve Weapon. 3 damage weapon + Violet Thunderstorm.

Sceptre can be amazing when it comes to holding the board, or winning a contested board. Deck building difficulties aside, I don't see how anyone could claim that it's 'bad'.

Nope, strictly speaking Wizent does the most damage since you can draw an infinite number of cards to summon an infinite number of allies!

But but ... ... you can do the same if you revive Zoe with Ghostmaker. :P
