    Word Of The Prophet, anyone?

Is anybody using this card? I love the artwork and would like to use it but i can't think of a deck where it would make sense.
Also i've never seen it being played.

I think you need a good draw engine to get the best out of it. But if you have a good draw engine already do you really need WotP in a 40 card deck? Probably not.

I know it can help if you got a bad starting hand but in this case you have to include 4 to increase the chance of getting it and 4 slots is a lot just for the case that you might get a bad hand.

Another question i have is wouldn't it be a good idea to reduce the cc to 0?

I use it in my solo Gwen. It's actually quite useful in solo, stall/mill decks where you need the right (stall) cards at the right time, better if running Bazaar

IMO the card is fine, except for one thing: You put cards away before drawing. I think it would be a better card if it was the other way around. Like, way better.

    Like, usable.

    And stuff.

No, seriously it would be really cool that way. As of now when you have to put cards away before drawing, it's just bad. You lose a card and chances are you get nothing from it. With drawing first you can at least put the just drawn cards back if you don't want them.

I wish it would give you an extra card, that way it was at least an even. It's awful.

Shadow Era has a mã hand size of 7, once you reach 7 you can't draw. It's not like in MtG: DotP where you can draw over 7 cards but have to discard at end of turn. therefore, WoP cannot let you draw before you discard.

I don't see a problem with that as you are always below 7 after the card resolves.

I use two of them in my resource denial Baduruu, as it mainly only helps in a deck where you are searching for very specific cards, like mentioned above with the solo Gwen. Other than that, it's not that great a card. Funny too, because when it was first spoilered, everyone thought this card would be amazing.

But if you are at 6, you can only draw 1 lol. At 5, you can draw 2.
WoP is meant to be used t1, you sac 1, and then use WoP, if you go second you have 5 in hand now, cannot draw 3.
If you go first, you can draw, but you already got -1 card advantage from the first turn advantage, if you have no Bad Santa, another -1 is a real pain.

I think the card is better than people give it credit for. However, it may just be that there aren't enough combo arch type cards yet to make it really stand out.
