How the F do you start playing the game?

Ok. I did played Shadow Era for a 1-2 hours some time ago.
Now after hearing about HEX I got me in the TCG mood so I thought "Let's try this again".

It always gave me the impression of "cheap". The old website was horrible. The client was looking awful ... it didn't had that good "POLISH".

Now... I see new website. That's great! I try to login with my old account, tried different emails, passwords... no success so I just create a new one. I activate it... login into the forums.

Ok. Let's download the client.

I enter th exe, I see some visual settings ... I set up 1920x1200 Fullscreen and start.

1. You still didn't get the time to create some sharp images for a high (normal) resolution. Images from the left/right look simply awful, unproffesional... this might say a lot about the game. It doesn't even matter if the game is good.

2. I click the button... I see : Email & Password.
I think, Ok... I just registered on the website I put my email my password. INCORRECT! I try with my user ... does not work.

Hmm... maybe I need to create a "GAME account" since I might just created a FORUM account only. But how? The button says: LOGIN/REGISTER

BUT HOW??

Now I go on the website. Same thing same problem.

After 15 minutes of trying around I STILL HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO PLAY THE GAME!

P.S. Also I found no way to deactivate the music from the start. I don't want it. It's to loud and bad.

So... good try at trying to sell yourself. Ah... and I'm an experience user. As TCG and as normal internet user. A user who does not know what this is exactly would have closed the website a long time ago. He woudn't even make a post like this.

Waw... I have never encountered somebody who can't create an account and then goes ranting like this. It's super easy...

You just type in your email and chose a pw on this after clicking Log in/register: http://shadowera.gondorian.com/gamechat/

This is the url with also the irc chat. But it works the same with the log in on the shadow era website.

And the music (pretty logical): click OPTIONS (yeah, options ) when you are ingame and unclick the music box

About the music, I think he meant before you log in. Anyway, I don't see that as an issue. Most games start with their music on. Once you put it off, the setting is saved.

This really is not that complicated.

1) TYPE E-MAIL (in box labeled "e-mail").

2) TYPE DESIRED PASSWORD (in box labeled "password").

3) CLICK THE FANCY BUTTON LABELED "SUBMIT".

4) PLAY THE GAME CUZ IT IS FREAKING AWESOME.

I just tried typing in

E-MAIL: dopdop@dopdop.dop

PASSWORD: dopdop

and it let me. I can't imagine what problems you might be having - it evidently doesn't even have to be a valid e-mail.

You do need internet for this online game, in case you didn't know that...

Guys remember that some people really do have problems with this sort of thing. Most games out there now a days have you inputting far more information than your username and password. I can really see the confusion to a certain point.

As was stated above, to make a new account you simply input the email address and desired password into the login screen and it will create a new account for you. No extra information is required.
