Why doesn't it sound logical?
After that it doesn't sound logical to play with the heroes of the last round or the rounds before.

Following the tournament logic further, there should be no 3rd place match
Actually, in many sports with similar tournaments (Judo comes to mind) you have 2 bronze medals, one for each of the losing semi-finalists.
Also, I agree with Raph. It's not very "thematic" using a random hero. In my point of view we should use the same hero that we used on the semis. But I'll go with the TO's decision of course, whatever it is.

Theme of tourney: try to win the round to advance. Once a round is won, the winning player is forced to play with the hero he just beat, building a deck with the said hero's available card pool.
Hence, basically, an underlying theme is: just do your best with whatever shit you have.
My suggestion is regarding 'consistency' of the theme and rules. In brief, the rules and the theme are designed to test a player's ability to analyze his opponents's hero and build a innovative deck based on the results of the analysis and be able to play it well. (of course, everyone is subjected to 'luck' in brackets draw.)
(And hence, logic dictates that the players playing for 3rd place should not be using 'any hero they want'.)
The side rule is that you have to play the hero that you just beat for next rd.
The players who lost in semi-finals should not be able to access the hero that defeated them. (It does not Matter if The hero sucks or otherwise)
That's just logic: at least I think I am logical.
Kelala is on track regarding the '2 bronze medals'. It makes even more sense here.

Yes, I meant that they could choose either hero, but since it's caused such an uproarious shitstorm, just stick with the hero you used in the semis.
