Stupid me to believe that, just for once, it could have happened.
Hang tight! There's a lot of things to sort out behind-the-scenes to ensure a smooth transition. A rush job to satisfy people who took an expectation of something as a guarantee would not be a wise business move, right?

I never expect anything to be done on time. In fact, I usually expect things to take four or five times the estimated. Too many problems with "professionals." But I remember a scene from one of the Star Trek movies that maybe Wulven should pay attention to. Something like:
Kirk: Mr. Scott, have you always multiplied your repair estimates by a factor of four?

Scotty: Certainly sir, how else can I keep my reputation as a miracle worker?
Congratulations to Preybird for designing my Avatar!

Pretty sure Wulven isn't rushing anything: this thread was opened early may.
And yes, despite everything I'm still here. Hanging tight.

    @ Warr Byrd:
I usually do the same (lol @ Star Trek quote, so true).
But this time I wanted to believe; don't ask me why, I just had good sensations about this. It surely won't happen again.

Dunno if it's been mentioned already but there may be tricky timing related issues with this release. If the backend network code is updated before the clients, then they will probably not work, and same if the clients are updated before the backend. With the obstinance of Apple to approve updates quickly/reliably, the issue is compounded, since we can't accurately pin down a date to switch everything at once. As much benefit as Apple's policies add to the app store ecosystem, it is very frustrating to developers.
