Say you were either some human general or a Shadow general. You are given command of five warriors to aid you in your defense/conquest of Balor. Who do you choose and why? Note: You cannot choose all heroes. Be cool.

ALLIANCE: SHADOW


Zaladar- Good for clearing out large armies with a couple of brief ten thousand volt shocks.
Carniboar- I figure if we keep the new recruit alive and eating long enough, he can grow stronger than anything.
Night Hunter- She's a klepto at heart.
Xar Modulator- Lava Giants tend to melt any swords/arrows that aren't enchanted.
Howlfang- Big ass wolf. Nuff said.

Banebow - He's a Boss, and he can take out enemies from a far and reloads his bow fast.

Brutalis - in the card game he may not be much, but that weapon of his looks like it hurts.

Morbid Acolyte - Turn enemies into powerless mortals.

Shadow Knight - His big and bad with his black armor and he will constantly revive my fallen soldiers.

Scourge Colossus - The Secret Weapon.

Lyra Blackrose: Battle plans mean nothing when your Generals cannot remember them.
Nightshade: Sometimes it only takes one strike to defeat an army.
Master Trapsetter: Paving the path to victory with death.
Gwenneth Truesight: One shot to end a war.

Boris Skullcrusher: Just a massive beast with a gigantic axe, point & kill.
Aldon: Inspires courage in my troops, bolsters their confidence.
Wymer: Never hurts to have mounted cavalry
Lance Shadowstalker: For those missions that require a little stealth
Marshland Sentinel: To intimidate my foes, and cripple them.

This is all about combos:

Elementalis will pump up Aeon who will protect everyone else.
Aeon will be our main warrior and protector.
Zhanna will keep healing Aeon and others.
Zaladar will give damage from afar.

Mixed Human/Shadow teams are fine as long as it makes sense. Just don't have a hero filled OP team.
