Is there a way to build a non-ally mage deck in SE?

I've not been playing SE for a long time so I'm not used to the new meta. I usually ran a non-ally Majiya deck and it was very to fun to play. Can anyone give me some advice of building a new one with the DP cards?

If you want to go completely allyless then the way to do it would probably still be VoW lock however now you have a few more tools to help you. Meteor Shower + EA should deal heavy damage to whatever allies they manage to accumulate. Shatter Ice is also a potentially strong tool however I have not yet seen it used to any great affect. Scrying Eyes + SoV will draw lock most decks as well.
If Semi solo then you can use Frosted Urigon to keep things frozen since it can be played through VoW. You can also forget VoW altogether and go for burn control + Ferrion Terror recursion.

Though I cannot recommend any competitive solo mages if you are looking for something fun those might work.
