    Post Majiya's Wisdom

I'm used to playing Magic the Gathering so I made this deck 60 cards. I'm not including the Majiya in the total because she isn't actually in the deck when you play. Let me know what you think. This is a digital deck that I built and it does rather well unless you are facing Darkclaw, Moonstalker, Zaladar, or Elementalis.

    So here is my decklist!

    Hero: Majiya new art

    Allies:
    Deathbone X4
    Plasma Behemoth X2
    Fire Snake X2
    Belladonna X4
    Bad Wolf X4
    Hellsteed X4
    Death Mage Thaddeus X1
    Ogloth the Glutton X1
    Twisted Familiar X2
    Io Void Leviathon X1

    Abilities:
    Bloodthirsty X1
    A Legend Falls X1
    Word of the Prophet X1
    Assumed Command X1
    Dark Revelations X2
    Fireball X4
    Lightning Strike X4
    Engulfing Flames X1
    Tome of Knowledge X1
    Arcane Burst X3
    Bloodlust X4
    Here Be Monsters X4
    Shadow Font X2
    Rain Delay X2
    Bazaar X2
    Bad Santa X2

Welcome to the game. Look, it's a nice name for a Majiya deck...but it's not wise to have 60 cards in it. Think about your strategy and cut 18-20 cards.

Really not wise to have that many one-ofs and so little draw in a sixty card deck.
Congratulations to Preybird for designing my Avatar!

Yeah heatblood plays a fat Boris and does surprisingly well with it. I've been paired with him 2 or 3 times. Any other 50+ decks you see at 300 are probably me, but my decks suck.

As a general rule people that have been playing MTG for a long time Usually keep their deck around the minimum number of cards that is allowed in whatever format the'yre playing. This is because they realize that they want to Decrease how much variance will affect them Over the course of the game, And make them that much more likely to draw their crucial cards whenever they need them.

Also, the typical MTG deck is about ~ 1/3 land (ie cards that give you the resources to play your spells and creatures.) Since in Shadow Era any card in your hand can be used as a resource, It essentially eliminates the need for that third of your stack of cards. So you essentially take away the need for lands, and you're left with a game which is very similar, but in which a 40 card deck allows you with nearly all the space you need.

(Basically I'm agreeing with everything that you're saying, but trying to put it in universal terms/ convince this guy to drop down to about 40 cards)
