Mind control + colossus

Should the colossus mind controlled destroy an "enemy " (me) item or also your? Because i used mind and the colossus didnt destory the neemy research

Heya,

Scourge Colossus has to deal combat damage to an opposing hero to trigger its effect. In the case of Mind Control, Scourge Colossus is hitting its own hero (not an opposing one) so its ability wont activate.
