Lightbulb Is Ally-less Darkclaw really "hard to beat" ?

    Hi all.

I'm new here in the forum. But I played about a year shadow era.

I only recently picked up the game after quite a long time not playing. And I had used a just-for-fun Ally-less Darkclaw to fight the AI since I am noob and not really confident playing with other players. But I tried several rounds recently and surprisingly I won 3 out of 4. People sometimes got upset or curious about my deck and it seems this deck is quite difficult to beat. Honestly i am not skillful player, i win just because of the cards are strong. Is there anyone who had similar experience with this "solo Darkclaw"?

Some say that wulven is just advantageous.. Same as the elemental with the recent dark prophecy upgrade.

    With all ears.

Mind posting your decklist up? It could be that your playing against more noob players on the ladder though solo DC still takes quite a bit of skill to play. Maybe you can check the Wulven sub-forums and compare your deck to others

Edit: oh right and welcome to the forums!

    Hi FreddieL,
I'm from Shanghai. Where are you from?
DC is much more powerful probably because of the card Blood Moon. Without it, there are little difference.

Hi shadowborn. Thanks. Yes I checked the section and found out my deck is very much like the "lazy wolf" in his thread:

    http://www.shadowera.com/showthread....rk-Prophecies)

But in addition I added to about 54 cards total, with a few more Regeneration and Full moon because I feel always insecure "fight alone" even with lone wolf attached. This reduces probability for certain cards to show up quick to some extent, though

Hi index good to meet you

I'm from Jiangxi. Yes the blood moon adds to my card replacement but not too much. This deck had worked out fine before dark prophecy. I use the Bazzar to accelerate for both parties and so I can move towards "Mill" quicker.

Your right you'll find that most players above 200-250, the average rating run 40 card decks, 45 maximum because like you said too much cards=less chance of drawing your key win cards. I will recommend to cut you deck size down to at least 45. It's a lot more safer than 50+
