how about giving the mulligan option ONLY to the player going second?
a penalty like loosing one card could still apply,
but maybe not even that if one considers that 'going second mulligan' also as a measure to negate the FTA in general.
Yes
No
I don't care.

If mulligans are going to be added, there are some criteriuns they have to fit:
1) They must benefit the game in a way that benefits all the playing styles equally, so that it does not break the meta.
2) They must not make any card OP or UP. Because balancing is important.
3) They must be made in a way that is not complex and does not make the rules much more complex. Shadow Era tries to be fun to play and easy to learn, and makingthe rules very complex would be against the DT intents.
I simply see no way of implementing it in a way that satisfies all the requirements above. For this reason I believe mulligans should come with a high penalty like drawing 1 card less than the previous hand. Mulligans should be made in a way they would only be used in extreme cases, say, you draw 4 Rothem's Visage and 2 WotP. It would be disgusting if you had to leave so soon because of such hand.

That is a stupid reason for saying no.
Don't mix game mechanics with cards, if a card is a problem because you might open with it, then the issue is the card anytime someone going first opens with it even without mulligan. In matter of fact, if anything one could say yes have mulligan for the same reason, so second player can mulligan against turn one who may have opened bad santa without mulligan. Notice how that doesn't sound like a reason, neither does the reverse.
The idea behind mulligan is to insure that both players open with a hand that allows both players a chance to play. Games should not ever come to, I opened bad so I lost.
Mulligan is more likely going to allow better players to beat bad players, and that scares too many people here it seems.

Comments like this is what have been sparking so many back and forth posts between users recently. You can have these disagreements without belittling or insulting someone. Instead of saying "this is a stupid reason" you can easily say " this is not a good reason". The meaning is the same, but its a lot friendlier and not insulting.
Sorry to call you out MZAAZM, your not the only one I've seen this from, but I think it was a good time to bring that up.
