Game is unplayable on iPad 1 (now fixed)

Dark Prophecies is completely unplayable on a first generation iPad. The app doesn't last 5 minutes without crashing. I have spoken to some people who have confirmed this on other 1st gen iPads. It also appears to be the same, anecdotally, on iPad 2.

This is, needless to say, incredibly frustrating. I would like to hear from someone at wulven who can confirm that this issue has been recognized and whether a fix is planned (or whether older iPads will be left behind).

EDIT BY GONDORIAN: This issue should now be solved. People are reporting that it has been. Please start a new bug report if you still have issues.

Also tested this on fiances iPad 1; can confirm its unplayable.

This update feels a bit rushed and untested so many bugs found on day 1

I am having the same issue. Though it did work fine for taking my $20 and letting me open all my DP boosters, editing my deck became a NIGHTMARE (incredible lag), the merchant crashes only once I scroll to buy DP cards, and games die after about 5 minutes.

My guess would initially be a memory leak, but to be perfectly honest the fact that the store crashes the game only when I scroll over to DP cards (buy or sell) tells me there's something more sinister afoot.

For now I'm playing on my iPhone 4s which seems to be working well...but yeah, let's get this looked at please? There's really no reason for this to be unplayable on an iPad 1.

Downloaded it on iPhone 4s, 5, iPad 1 and 2. All up to date yet faced the same issues. Huge let down to say the least. Fix this shit already.

I was thinking it might be a ram issue since iPad 1 is a little low in that department. But the fact that this happens on any other iOS platform (with adequate amounts of ram) is an indication that something needs to be fixed ASAP. I'll be looking for a refund of the shadow crystals I've purchased if I can't even play on my iPad.

Definitely not just a RAM issue - as I mentioned, the store also causes it to crash once you scroll to the DP cards. That wouldn't be RAM, that's more likely a resource that is being requested but not available in the build.

Ipad 1st gen. running iOS 5.1

Crashes all the time when using merchant and deckbuilder. Even when idle.
    Unplayable this way.

Reinstall and reboot did not help. Also running no other apps in background.

Also, I hope this does not take months to fix (I.e. I want to see it fixed before the auction house update).

Also crashes on iPhone 3GS after about turn 5or so. Also happens when playing AI.

Also in merchant can't scroll to the right past 4 screens. Can't get to Weapons or Alt Heros.
