What I was pointing out is that while you waste your cc, your opponent probably puts real threats on the board.
The net effect of your combo is just that: -3cc, nothing more on the board, 1 heal, -1 SE on the opp.
not cc-cost-effective.
If that's your point, then I agree with you. That's why I said this combo doesn't really work well until the late game and you already have other threats on the board or are able to place multiple allies at once. For example, it's effective if you can VO-cycle the PotL's behind an Aeon to prevent an opponent from using a direct-damage SE ability on Aeon.
